About Alexander

Alex is an athlete through and through. Growing up in sunny South Africa he played 16 sports and dominated on the field. His deepest passions lay in the pool and on the rugby field, spending hours dedicating himself to the pursuit of excellence in both. He is a skilled swimmer and an excellent coach. He brings drive and determination to every workout and his clients achieve results. He works hard to educate his clients and empower them to find balance in their lives.

In 2016, he trained Muay Thai with professional fighters in Chiang Mai, Bangkok and Koh Phangan, Thailand. In his travels he learned a lot and he is excited to share what he has learned with you! I have worked with Alex for over one year. I have had many trainers over the years and can say that Alex has been my best experience for several reasons. 1) he is always on time, motivated and well prepared with a well thought out strategy for each session. 2) He has deep breadth of knowledge in many areas of fitness, physiology, nutrition, and thoughtfully applies his knowledge to improve my life 3) The sessions are a lot of fun and he is able to change it up so it does not get monotonous with a nice balance of cardio, weight training, TRX, boxing , yoga and stretching 4) He has an acute skill to know my limits so I am not in pain after our sessions but energized and wanting more 5) most importantly I am 45 years old and for the first time in my life am beginning to reach my fitness goals.
