I am from the woods of Maine and have been told I stick out like a sore thumb in New York City. I have a passion for all things happy and healthy. Moments such as breaking a personal record in a race, dead lifting your body weight or finally being able to do a push up are little yet, huge, feats that make working out all worthwhile.
The mind is a powerful weapon and I am here to push you to use it in the safest most effective way to get the most out of your body. All while having fun!

Who I Especially Like Working With
Not only is Kara a wonderful trainer, but she is professional and reliable. Her workouts are challenging but attainable, and her style is the perfect combination of tough love and encouragement. Kara has helped me look forward to my workouts instead of dreading the gym- not an easy thing to do!
Kara is a fantastic trainer, extremely accommodating with schedules and a pleasure to work with. She helped me reach my goal time while training for my first marathon, something I don't think I could have done without her.
Kara is an amazing trainer! She's on time, always accommodating and understands how to push my limits.
Kara is a wonderful trainer! She’s understanding about where I’m starting but also where I want to get to. I feel very comfortable and know that I’ll reach my fitness goals with someone like her by my side!!
Kara is a really on it. I've never worked with a trainer before, in fact I've barely worked out on my own aside from random yoga classes. Kara spent time getting to know me and my strengths and weaknesses and has come up with a workout plan that doesn't feel overwhelming or unachievable for a newbie. I feel like she pushes me just enough without being militant, which is exactly what I need to stay encouraged and stick with my workout schedule.
