Hello there! My name is Andrew, I am a certified injury prevention/post rehab specialist. I chose to study this specialty because of my own struggles in the past with injuries, muscle imbalances, posture and mobility. Present day I focus on helping people who want to exerscise again after an injury but are not sure where to start or people who want an extra focus on form to stay safe in pursuit of long term success. My favorite client story
I was working with a client who wanted to compete in physique competitions however his lack of mobility would cause him major pain after a workout. His mobility had dramatically decreased after he had a surgery. This was a big obstacle keeping him from reaching his goal since he could no longer increase the weight in his lifts without major repercussions. When working together we focused on improving the quality of his movement. When we first started he could barely lift his arms over his head, a few months later this was no longer the case. He was free to build as he needed to compete. I cant express in writing how fulfilling this was for me and the biggest reason I focus on post rehab/ injury prevention.
My favorite exercise
Dead lifts and variations of dead lifts are my favorite because most people have weak back muscles and benefit greatly from this exercise.
