With over 10 years of personal training experience, a Bachelors and Master's degree in exercise science/sports psych, and the NSCA's gold standard certification for strength and conditioning coaching, I am one of the most qualified and educated trainers here in New York City. Fitness is my passion, and I've followed that passion all the way to the USA team for Strongman Fitness World Championships. I approach every trainee with grounded science and experience. I also write a monthly article for Muscle & Fitness and post a few articles per month to my site.
My primary philosophy for training is that if you want to look like an athlete, you need to train and eat like one. Together we can get you lean, fit, and toned in a safe and healthy way with your own customized training program.
I love my career and I wouldn't change it for anything. When you email me, please tell me a little about yourself including any past experiences you've had with other trainers and what results you gained, what you do for fun, and why you're searching for a trainer now.
I will be happy to answer any other questions you might have.

Brad Baldwin is hands down one of the best trainers I've ever learned from and interacted with. With not only a strong background and knowledge in strength training and promoting fitness, he has a strong ability to relate to others. I highly recommend Brad Baldwin for anyone who is looking to learn and get to that next level.
Brad not only programmed my workout routines but my nutrition. I put on lean muscle while losing fat. I was extremely satisfied!
Brad helped me with my training 2 years ago. Not only is he beyond knowledgeable in fitness and nutrition, he is also an excellent motivator who cares about your success in the gym and out.
At first I really didn't know where to start with training, but Brad was able to fix a lot of things that I never even noticed. My strength shot up and a lot of my nagging injuries subsided. His expertise in training different kinds of people really carried over because there are so many things I thought I was doing right but had to have his coaching on to fix. Not only that but he is also reached extremely higher levels in his sport and his knowledge base is wider than what you can find in most books on working out or exercise. Highly recommend because he is not only knowledgeable but also personable.
Brad is great -- I have only wonderful things to say about him. He's patient and is clearly catering the workouts to my needs and adjusting them whenever is needed. I love working with him!
Brad. I came to him in the summer of 2015 and literally started crying to him within a few minutes because I was SO frustrated and felt so defeated. I had been dealing with Arthritis in my joints for a while and it was flaring up a lot during that time so I felt like getting comfortable in my body, feeling fit, losing weight and just feeling GOOD, was nearly impossible. Brad has been a shining light in my life ever since our first session. He shows up SO ready to support, kick butt + laugh while doing all of it. He keeps our workouts interesting and different each time. And most of all, he has been SO good about being mindful with my arthritis while still giving me a GREAT workout. I would be lost (and huge) without him. I just love him so much. I promise you won't regret working with him for even one second.
I want to thank Brad for his constant help and communication. His passion and expertise is clear as day and I cannot thank him enough. With his help I have managed to hit several new personal records in just 12 weeks and I look forward to many more with him by my side.
Brad has been everything I've wanted in a trainer. He's always prepared, professional and attentive. He knows exactly how to push me to make progress in the gym, and he actually teaches me the why's and how's of everything we do. I didn't have much to lose, which is harder to do, but Brad has done a great job of honing in on what I needed to change.
I’m a competitive powerlifter and came to Brad after hitting a plateau in my bench and deadlift. It hadn’t moved in 8 months. Brad taught me how to take a step down in intensity and increase my volume in a subtle way. We’re 3 months in now and my lifts are climbing higher and higher.
Brad is the consummate professional. His knowledge of the musculoskeletal system is thorough and enables him to pinpoint and plan the program best suited to your developmental needs. He is punctual but not a clock-watcher. His demeanor is that of instructor and coach. My friends, family and colleagues noticed a big difference in my body after a few sessions with Brad. If you are serious about improving your body, Brad is the one and only for you. I can recommend him unconditionally.
I’ve been working out with Brad for two years now and he’s a fantastic trainer. He pushes me to get the body I want and he’s super friendly and fun to talk to, so even the more intense sessions are still enjoyable. His schedule is also flexible which is great since my hours are all over the place. Looking forward to our next session!
