About Christopher

Get ready to - move faster - hold static poses longer, build full body strength, and increase mobility and self respect!  I love working with beginners and elites, and those recovering from injury (or covid fatigue) who need a roadmap and a cheerleader!

 

 

 

Most of our work is done with bodyweight, connecting all movements back to the core.  Partner bodyweight provides additional challenge / resistance as needed.  We focus on using your own body and basic elements in your environment as your gym.

 

 

 

Core, shoulder strength and stability are elements commonly overlooked or given less attention in basic gym routines.  

 

 

 

Outdoor sessions anywhere in Manhattan, Brooklyn, queens are preferred, will also come to you in outer boroughs or jersey city area.  I also have indoor studio space in harlem for night sessions and/or inclement weather.

My favorite client story

Playing catch with a man who just had a stroke to help retrain his coordination was probably the most rewarding thing I've ever done.

My favorite exercise

Anything full body, push up, pull up, plank, climb up, muscle up, anything that forces someone to use their entire body to accomplish a task! Even that's just a really good squat.

Worked with physical therapy patients, trains adults, coached children, used to teach tennis. Now I teach circus arts, handstands, calisthenics
