Working out, eating well, and generally taking care of myself has helped me overcome a lot in life. After years of being bullied for being gay and for being overweight, I recognized my emotional eating was destructive to my physical and mental health. I needed to replace my bad habits with ones that nourish my mind, body, and soul. We all have our own paths to health. I’m grateful I discovered fitness as a way to release stress, deal with negativity, and further my interest in wellness.
I’ve learned a lot in my journey to personal fitness. I know my goal is to be healthy overall; to cultivate a lifestyle of nourishment. I know it takes time and dedication. I also know I enjoy guiding people on their journey to health. I want to teach you helpful ways to care for yourself. Let’s achieve our goals and stand up for ourselves. Together, we can use fitness as a tool to improve various aspects of life. Whatever your reasons for getting fit, I want to help.
