Hawaii boy and born-again New Yorker Jack Davis has been finding individualized solutions to varied fitness challenges for 12 years. I don't believe in one size fits all, I believe you have a unique path to fitness and life, and as a collaborative team, we can find that path. One of the most empathetic and supportive trainers you'll meet, but don't let that fool you. With me, you WILL sweat, but you'll have fun doing it. I'm especially good with fundamentals of lifting and posture, giving you the knowledge and skills you'll keep the rest of your life in any fitness setting. I motivate, but I don't judge. Especially good with beginners, gym-shy and those who've gotten into a rut and want to break through to the next level. My session approach tends to feature a lot of interval work and supersets at an intensity level appropriate for each individual.
My favorite client story
When she was getting ready for her wedding, "Bettye" just had this determination that she was going to do it this time. She was such a joy to work with in the months leading up to it. She stayed true to the plan and was ready to push herself when she had to. And on "The Day", boy did she looked good and EVERYBODY said so. She was glowing!
My favorite exercise
I love the Turkish get-up. All parts of your body have to work together. It's almost a metaphor for life success: you start on the ground, at the bottom, and when you're done you're standing tall with your arm straight up in the air.
