About Joe
Joe Carr has been involved in physical fitness his entire life. Joe’s athletic background began by playing football with the Oceanside Stallions Athletic Club at the age of 7. Other sports included basketball and lacrosse. Joe competed for three years with Iron Island Gym’s powerlifting team.
Joe has spent nearly 25 years coaching individuals and sports teams. Joe started coaching basketball at the age of 18 with St. Anthony’s Church (Oceanside, NY), and football with his hometown Oceanside Stallions Athletic Club.
Joe worked for Project Renewal, which provides for men in the beginning stages of recovery. As Recreational Aide, Joe set up training regimens and exercise routines. Joe has served as an intern with the CARDIOVASCULAR FITNESS UNIT of THE NEW YORK POLICE DEPARTMENT. He enabled many police officers to achieve their fitness goals.
