My name is Jon, I have been certified as a personal trainer for the past 5 years. Prior to moving to NYC, I was located in Pittsburgh, where I transitioned from playing D1 lacrosse to helping others achieve their physical or athletic goals. I previously and currently have been working for highly reputable companies in the fitness industry, which has afforded me the opportunity to to receive numerous certifications and educational opportunities to become a better trainer; as well as working with a wide variety of people from, high school athletes training for college to middle aged looking to recover from injury to elderly just looking to move and feel better. My main focuses during training are largely functional in nature, to help you to be able to navigate the world with greater ease and stamina. Strength training is a passion of mine but I also head a running club and helped run a group training people for the Pittsburgh marathon.
