I guess you can call me "the cup is half full guy". I grew up just like any other newyorican -- my mom raised me. I was the oldest, so I had a ton of responsibilities in the house. I grew up in Brooklyn and played outside like most kids, games like sewer-to-sewer (sewer caps on streets were the goal lines for football), skelly on the streets or wiffle ball on someone's stoop. I suffered from asthma (very typical of a city kid in poor neighborhoods), so the doctor recommended swimming, but there were a few problems with that -- I had no pool to swim in and I didn't know how to swim. Lol. So much for that.
A few years later I went to high school and was accidentally put into a swim class for gym, which for me was exciting because now I could learn how to swim. What a rude awakening that was! I walked into the swim area with my cut off jeans for my 1st swim lesson and I saw all these guys who were much bigger than me with these cool "speedo" goggles and racing trunks. Then I got pushed in as initiation into the deep end 9' deep! I become suspended in the water just a few feet from the bottom. I was stuck, I wasn't going up or down. I thought I was going to die. My new and forever friend David Cabrol reached in and saved me. This class was the high school swim team.
Three months later I was competing on the team:) From that point I got into fitness. I became a New York City Life Guard in Coney Island Beach receiving a "Heroic Rescue" plaque from Mayor Guilliani because I was struck by lightning and still administered CPR to a lightning victim. I also had become very active and worked with some of the best triathletes in NYC and got into kickboxing. A typical day for me in the summer would start off with a 17 mile bike ride to the beach, drill with the life guard, which could be anything from a 1-6 mile soft sand run to a mile swim and practicing rescues in and out of the water. Then I biked 17 miles back home to the gym to lift weights or kickbox, and then my coach would ride my bike while I jogged 1-3 miles to end the day.
My "Method" has come from a lifestyle of fitness and the 25 years I put into training over a 1,000 clients.

Who I Especially Like Working With
I worked out with Kenny & the team a lot back in the fall & during the holiday season in late 2014. I can honestly say, that I was in the best shape of my life. I was toned, eating healthy & my abs looked fantastic. However, I had to stop going to them in early January. Why? Because I became pregnant and this blood sucking alien baby inside of me won't let me! I 100% plan on going back as soon as the baby is born and I can work out a bit more aggressively than I have been all pregnancy. The guys push you hard & are also motivational. They genuinely seem to care about their clients & getting results.
