About Myra

Myra Thibault joins Physical Equilibrium as a veteran New York City fitness instructor and personal trainer. In addition to her fitness certifications, Myra is uniquely trained in the Lotte Berk Method, one of the first ballet barre workouts in New York City. She has been teaching the Lotte Berk Method at Exhale Spa's in Manhattan and the Hamptons since it's inception in 2003.

In 2008, Myra teamed up with Michelle Austin, founder of "The Fluidity Bar", to teach her system at several gyms throughout New York City, including, The JCC, The Printing House Gym, Bally's and New York Health and Racquet.

Myra's interest in health and wellness began as a young girl while growing up in Rhode Island. And though she never considered herself a jock, she joined the cross-country team in high school, which expanded her interest in fitness and athletics. She soon found herself frequently in the pool, on the track or on the dance floor.

Myra earned a BFA in Performing Arts at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. She continues to pursue acting and loves that her background in movement and dance has helped her to not only live a healthy and balanced life but also to inspire and teach others how they can too.
