I started my career at one of the premier one-on-one fitness facilities in NYC so I have over 15,000 client hours experience ranging from 10 to 93 years old, male and female. I pride myself on adapting my style to whatever the client needs and wants. Some want to be covered in sweat and others want to learn more to do on their own.
No matter which style, my biggest focus when I train my clients is form and troubleshooting/preventing injuries. In today's age of information for workouts, exercise descriptions, and apps, the value I bring to the table is making sure you're doing it right. Weight position in the feet, balance between left and right sides, balance between antagonistic muscle groups, posture, how you stand, how you sit: these factors will determine your fitness, your injury risk, and your quality of life as you age.
I don't believe in major diet shifts for weight loss. Instead, I've worked with my clients in making small healthy changes to their diet in order to reach their weight loss goals. I want people to enjoy getting in shape as much as possible from fun in the workouts, mixing up the routines, to enjoying what they eat, obviously with some compromise.
