About Sarah

I became a trainer because I experienced first hand how powerful proper exercise and nutrition can be to help you become your best self. After struggling for years with an underactive Thyroid and autoimmune disorder, regular exercise and a healthy eating regimen were my saving graces. I have dedicated my life to helping others change and transform their lives. I love empowering people to become their best selves. I am well versed in all types of training and particularly enjoy Functional Training. I also find core strengthening and mobility exercises to be beneficial for all of my clients.

My favorite client story

One of my newer clients started working with me and through our twice-weekly sessions and proper nutrition dropped 35lbs in 3 months. Every trainer at the gym we work at came up to congratulate the both of us on his achievements. That always makes my day.

My favorite exercise

Spiderman plank on a Bosu ball.

My favorite quote

"And when you want something, all the Universe conspires in helping you to achieve it." The Alchemist

My training philosophy

You train to live. I employ functional training to help you live longer, prevent disease and injury and promote a balanced mind and body.

My training experience

I was a top-level trainer at Equinox for 5 years and then started my own business. I have been training since 2010 and working out since I was 15.

I am a 43 year-old attorney and I have been training with Sarah for almost 4 years. I can honestly say that she has been a huge influence in my life. She has pushed me (with only positive reinforcement) to get in the best shape of my life in many different areas, while always making sure that I don’t get injured. Sarah really knows the body inside and out! When I first came to Sarah, I only expressed an interest in getting better flexibility and endurance for cardio workouts. She quickly changed my goals so that my entire body would see fantastic results. I probably would have never started weight lifting if it weren't for her! Also, she is always around to answer diet questions and offer tips (she gives you a really great guide). Aside from that, she has a really friendly and welcoming personality, so you'll feel like you're training with a friend (well until she makes you do her “stir the pot” exercise!!). I've definitely found something I love and that works for me fitness-wise. Because of Sarah, not only have I noticed amazing physical results, but I have become happier over all!
