I have my Associates of Arts Degree in Sports Medicine from Manatee Community College and my Bachelor of Science Degree in psychology from the University of Central Florida. I am certified with PTA Global, NASM and have my level one nutrition certification with Precision Nutrition. I absolutely love fitness and have been a board-certified fitness professional for over twenty years. I fell in love with fitness at the age of fifteen because I was born with cerebral palsy in which I lacked muscle tone, coordination, strength, balance and weakness on the left side of my body, and I wanted to improve on my weaknesses. I was also very skinny and lacked confidence. When I lifted weights for the first time my whole life changed. I felt good about myself. As I started gaining muscles and improving the coordination, strength, balance and muscle tone on the left side of my body, my confidence grew. With what I have experienced, and what fitness has done for me lead me to want to help others to experience for themselves what fitness can do for them in all aspects of their lives. I have trained many people with different goals, backgrounds, lifestyles, limitations and injuries. Today I specialize in helping people who may be a beginner, intermediate or advanced with in person or online nutrition counseling. My fitness programs are specially designed for everyone, providing them with strength training and cardiovascular exercise that will help them tone up, lose body fat (weight) and gain lean muscle. I help people reach their fitness goals in a variety of ways, such as one-on-one training, paired training, group training, boot camps and online fitness training to help them reach their fitness goals.
