I was a very scrawny kid growing up, weighing 115 lbs at 5'8. I was not athletic at all otherwise. Nobody wanted me on their team for gym class. I had always strived to be strong and athletic. I started lifting at 18 years old. I learned so much about my body at that point, and it was when I recovered, I knew I eventually wanted to pursue a career in fitness.
