?Session workouts are a heart and soul endeavor where I engage with a motivational approach to fulfill clients desired outcomes for an enjoyable experience.
?The first Session is about getting to know you. It includes an evaluation of your physical status including basic measurements, personal goals, habits and history, medical conditions and any special concerns and needs. Workout session plan is developed including specific fitness goals, with short and long-term time frames and daily session sequence.
?Typical sessions include, resistance training, strength strengthening, cardio, and flexibility. Each session is based on client’s fitness level and fitness goals.
?Training in the San Gabriel Valley for the past 25 years, I have worked with a wide range of people with fitness needs, from teens to seniors, individuals with disabilities, athletes, body builders. This includes people in need of basic fitness conditioning, weight loss, athletes preparing for competition, people with amputations, autism, heart conditions and recovering from physical injuries.
?I initially became interested in training for myself as a teenager. I enjoyed the process of working out with the physical, energetic and mental benefits that come from a daily routine. I learned from the owner of a private fitness gym, who saw my potential as a trainer and brought me in to train others. I began in late 90s and discovered I enjoyed the personal interaction, taking individuals through a workout, guiding their improvement and being an educator for fitness. I continue to keep myself in condition with disciplined daily personal workouts including martial arts training, toning, resistance training, strength training and good nutrition.
?Gym Ownership: I owned and operated my own gyms in Pasadena including Fitness Factor from 2004-2008, followed by Cohen Fitness from 2008-2023. I have provided the following:
